Feed the pothos a little protein liquid every month, and Grandpa Zhang grew a green curtain in 80 days

As people's living standards improve and rise, more and more people like to keep some green potted plants in their homes and offices. On the one hand, they use them to decorate the room and make the living environment more lively; on the other hand, they also want to purify the room's air by growing some green potted plants. Common household flowers like pothos (Epipremnum aureum) have already entered every household.
Although pothos is a very easy-to-grow green plant, to grow it well you still need some know-how and experience. In fact, on a larger scale, growing flowers is also a discipline. In the process of growing flowers, you need to understand flowers and know their growth habits. Only then can you grow your green potted plants densely and robustly. The same applies to growing pothos: you still need to master some small tips to make it grow densely and green.
Grandpa Zhang grows pothos, gives it a bit of "protein liquid" once a month, and in 80 days it grows into a "green curtain"
Pothos growth habits
Pothos is a common household flower. Its root system is very developed, and it likes to grow in fertile, loose, airy soil. When growing pothos at home, you need to place it in a ventilated, airy spot with scattered light. The plant can grow green and dense there, but it can also be placed in a spot with relatively poor light and still grow normally. In daily care, pothos needs to be repotted and have its soil changed once a year, and its roots trimmed so the plant regrows. During care, you should also replenish fertilizer in time. Generally you can choose quick-acting granular fertilizer, and you can also add some plant nutrient solution.
In January and February, give the pothos a bit of egg white water, which can effectively supplement fertilizer
Pothos is a plant that likes fertilizer, so during care you should replenish fertilizer in time. Neighbor Grandpa Zhang used egg white mixed with water and poured it into the pothos pot, giving the pothos a drink once every 1-2 months. The pothos at home hung on the balcony and grew into a green curtain, very dense and robust. In fact, this is mainly because egg white is rich in elements such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, all of which are essential nutrients for pothos growth.
If you keep many pothos pots at home, you can each time crack one egg, filter out the yolk, then mix with water and dilute it. Use one egg white to 1 kilogram of water. After it fully dissolves, pour this aqueous solution into the pothos pot and that is enough. Here you need to pay special attention: the egg white must be fully diluted before being used to water pothos, otherwise if the concentration is too high it will not only produce an odor but also burn the pothos roots. The filtered-out egg yolk can be directly buried in a clivia (Clivia miniata) pot or a snake plant (Sansevieria trifasciata) pot. It is likewise a very good flower fertilizer.
When growing pothos in daily life, besides replenishing fertilizer in time, you should also place the pot in a spot with good light and good ventilation. You can choose to hang it on the balcony. Basically after more than two months, the pothos can put out very long branches and grow into a green curtain.
