These 3 vegetables are perfect for balcony container gardening: plant one pot and harvest for half a year, delicious and fast-growing!
1. Scallions
Scallions are an essential vegetable in our daily lives, delicious however you eat them. Soak the scallion seeds in warm water, then let them dry. Find a fairly large pot with drainage holes in the bottom, fill it with loose, fertile soil, and when sowing, place 3-5 seeds in each small hole, then sprinkle a thin layer of soil on top. Under suitable temperatures, they will sprout in about 15 days.
2. Lettuce
Lettuce is a vegetable we often eat at the table. Buy some lettuce seeds, soak them in warm water, then let them dry. When sowing, mix them with fine sand, then scatter them into the pot and cover with a thin layer of soil (don't sow too densely, or they will only grow leggy, and even if you pick them all you won't have enough to stir-fry a plate). Under suitable temperatures, they will sprout in about 15 days. During the growing period, use mainly organic fertilizer, and stop fertilizing half a month before harvest.
3. Cilantro
When we make soup or cold dishes, we can't do without cilantro as a seasoning. Soak the cilantro seeds in warm water, then let them dry. Find a fairly large pot with drainage holes in the bottom, fill it with loose, fertile soil, and when sowing, scatter them evenly in the pot, not too many, then sprinkle a thin layer of soil on top. Under suitable temperatures, they will sprout in about 15 days.
