but a "scenery" created by the hands of the bonsai maker.

The view put forward by a Tang dynasty painter, "Learn from nature outwardly, gain the source in the heart inwardly," is worth drawing on. Bonsai creators bring the images of all things into their hearts, and at the same time process all things that have entered the heart to create bonsai that originate from nature and rise above nature. To improve the level of bonsai art creation, one should "travel ten thousand miles and read ten thousand books," improve artistic cultivation, and open the mind; experience the spiritual essence of mountains, rivers, forests, and trees. Only then can one create bonsai full of lively charm.
