Depending on the flowering period, chrysanthemums are divided into summer chrysanthemums, autumn chrysanthemums, and cold chrysanthemums.
Summer chrysanthemums:
Also known as Wujiu chrysanthemum. It blooms once each year in the 5th and 9th months of the lunar calendar.Autumn chrysanthemums:
The flowering period is divided into early and late.- Early chrysanthemums bloom in mid-to-late September and are medium-sized chrysanthemums.
- Late chrysanthemums bloom in October-November and are large chrysanthemums; they are the most commonly cultivated autumn chrysanthemums.
Cold chrysanthemums:
Also known as winter chrysanthemums. The flowering period runs from December to January of the following year.
For example, depending on the petal type, they are divided into flat petals, spoon petals, tube petals, osmanthus petals, and irregular petals.
Flat petals:The ligulate flowers spread out in a flat plane;
Spoon petals:The petal tips open out like a spoon, called a "spoon blade";
Tube petals:The ligulate flowers extend in a tubular shape;
Osmanthus petals:The ligulate flowers have 1-3 whorls of flat, spoon, or tube petals, and the tubular flowers become osmanthus-petal-shaped (also called star-tubular).
Irregular petal category - fringed type
Irregular petals:The petals are unusual and can be divided into burr petals, dragon-claw petals, and fringed petals.

Chrysanthemum cuttings bloom larger than the mother plant. When growing chrysanthemums, compact and sturdy plants are best. Height control is mainly done by water control. The lower leaves of a chrysanthemum are like a woman's skirt hem; if the lower leaves are withered and yellow, the whole pot looks poor. If the lower leaves are grown well, the leaves of the whole plant will not be bad either. There is no trick to growing chrysanthemums; it all depends on the soil. It is best to use rotted wood shavings mixed with sandy soil, plus a little aged dry loess.

A pole is standing in the middle of the chrysanthemum?
Why do it this way?

Chrysanthemum growing professional @Danran
Because chrysanthemum flowers are large, bamboo skewers are needed as supports to "give the chrysanthemum a helping hand." The professional term for this isstaking。

Among all flowers, the chrysanthemum's bloom most resembles a smiling face. "Autumn chrysanthemums have fine colors; I gather their blossoms wet with dew." The best time to admire chrysanthemums is early morning. Around Frost's Descent, the sounds of autumn are mournful. Grass changes color when brushed by it, and trees shed their leaves when struck by it. But chrysanthemums are not afraid; they bloom defiantly in the frost, brilliantly dazzling, and in the midst of desolation, they give you a warm smiling face.
"Tao Qian once said: 'Cherishing this steadfast and lovely posture, standing out as a hero beneath the frost.' This describes the chrysanthemum, and this is its moral integrity. Among the ancients, none loved chrysanthemums more than Tao Yuanming. In his 'Returning Home,' he said: I hurried home through wind and dust, finally saw my own door, and ran forward joyfully. The path in the courtyard had become overgrown, but fortunately my pines and chrysanthemums were still alive.
On my windowsill, there was once a pot of chrysanthemums, and its name wasGolden Red Radiance。

When it was first brought back, there were two flower buds, the size of a baby's fist. They opened slightly, with golden and red thread-like petals stretching out, like a woman's hair bun.
In the days that followed, it opened a little each day, very shyly, with petals curling inward, the arcs of extension varying, extremely charming. When it was in full bloom, that beauty was the charm of a mature woman, bold and passionate. Later, it began to age, the color gradually darkened, and the thread-like petals began to curl outward, still with a very beautiful arc.
Later still, it slowly withered, finally becoming a clump, dried up... gone...
The life of a flower and the life of a person are so similar.
