No need to spray pesticide when your houseplants get pests; let me teach you a trick to repel them easily

Nowadays everyone loves growing flowers, and the balconies at home have almost all turned into little "gardens". Coming home every day to see pots of brightly colored flowers and green plants is truly a great pleasure, but keeping plants also has its annoying moments, for example when the leaves "attract bugs"!
Generally, people who have been growing flowers for a long time will run into this problem: the leaves of the plants are covered with little bugs. If they are grown outdoors, that is fine, you can just spray pesticide to kill them. But if they are grown on the balcony, pesticide smells so strong and also contains toxins, so how can you completely get rid of the bugs? Huahua has a few little tips here, hoping to help those of you troubled by bugs!
Generally, different bugs need different methods to deal with them. Today Huahua will use 3 bugs as examples to tell everyone how to repel them!
1. Red spider mite
The red spider mite counts as a common pest of potted flowers and plants. As long as you do not open the windows for ventilation in time when growing flowers at home, the red spider mite will begin to "spread". Red spider mites generally first grow on relatively "old" leaves, but because red spider mites are very small, they are not easy to spot when they first appear. At this time we need to carefully observe the underside of the leaves. If various black, white and red dots appear, then the plant has definitely been infested by red spider mites!
If the red spider mites are temporarily concentrated on just a few leaves, then quickly remove the leaves that have been infested to prevent them from spreading further. If there are a large number of bugs, you can make a little chili water. Chili water is quite irritating, and if sprayed on the leaves several times a day, the red spider mites will not be able to stand it either. You can also use the method of rinsing with water, placing the leaves under running water to wash them until the bugs are washed away.
2. Whitefly
Whiteflies are different from red spider mites. They are a kind of flying bug, and their favorite thing is to stay on the leaf surface of potted flowers and plants releasing toxins. To deal with this rather stubborn pest, we need to use garlic water.
The specific method is to mash the garlic at home into minced garlic, then add water to dilute it and filter out the residue. Put the diluted garlic water into a spray bottle, and you can spray the infested leaves several times a day. After some time, you will find that the whiteflies gradually disappear.
3. Scale insect
Scale insects are bugs that many potted flowers and plants attract. They look very disgusting, sticking together in clusters, and they are very harmful. Generally, succulent plants attract even more of them. At this time we can call on alcohol to help.
Alcohol has the effect of sterilizing and disinfecting. After diluting it with water, use it to wipe the leaf surfaces that have been infested, and it can have a very good repellent effect. If there is no alcohol at home, you can also use vinegar instead. Vinegar can not only repel bugs but also promote leaf growth.
If your plants and flowers have also attracted these 3 kinds of bugs, you can try the methods above. The removal effect can be very good even without spraying pesticide! If everyone has even better pest-repelling methods, leave a comment for Huahua in the comment section!
