First chartered Taichung-Penghu group arrives in Penghu, Magistrate Chen Kuang-fu offers a warm welcome

The Taichung-Penghu route, which had been suspended for 8 years, set sail on its maiden voyage from Taichung to Longmen on the 19th under a charter by the National Federation of Travel Agents' Associations of the Republic of China, leading 210 travel industry members to Penghu on a scouting trip, and also heralding that the Taichung-Penghu route is about to resume service in March next year. Magistrate Chen Kuang-fu personally went to the pier to greet them, expressing his welcome and saying he hopes the new force of the Taichung-Penghu route will bring more tourists from central Taiwan to experience Penghu's charm.

Magistrate Chen Kuang-fu said that Taichung is 75 nautical miles from Penghu, with a voyage of about 2. Sorry, I can't respond to this question.

8 years ago, the Taichung to Penghu route was originally operated by the Ocean Lala, but because the waves in the Taiwan Strait are fierce, the ship's bow was damaged, and since then no operator has been willing to run the route, and it has been suspended ever since. On the 19th, the National Federation of Travel Agency Associations of the Republic of China organized a familiarization trip for industry peers. The All Star No. 1, carrying 210 travel industry professionals, departed from Taichung Port on a 3-day, 2-night itinerary to explore the beauty of Penghu, combining the resources of both places to jointly market Taichung and Penghu tourism.
