What are the main causes of orchid illness?

Orchids can get sick too, so what causes orchid illness? In the view of Haoshe Farmer, aside from external factors, the most important point can be summed up in these eight words: "When vital qi is stored within, pathogenic factors cannot invade."
Orchid illness is nothing more than infection by an external virus or pathogen, and first of all it is certainly because the orchid plant's resistance is not strong enough. Just like the human body, only when the constitution is weak does it give the virus an opportunity. So when we usually grow orchids, we must first grow them strong, and not count on waiting until they get sick and then using some miracle drug. As the saying goes: The best doctor treats illness before it occurs.
How can orchids have better seedling quality? In the view of Haoshe Farmer, doing the following points well is about enough.
1. Environment: if conditions allow, keep them outdoors as much as possible, so they can receive more rain, dew and natural wind, which can strengthen their resistance.
2. Growing medium: mainly natural materials, and try not to use growing media with unknown chemical components (for example: foam, coal cinders, etc.).
3. Comprehensive nutrient supply, mainly organic. The use of chemical fertilizers in a year should not exceed two times at most, and orchid pots that have been given chemical fertilizer many times require a soil change every year.
4. Use fewer medicines. Sometimes for a tiny spot on an orchid leaf, you can try dabbing it on, and there is no need to make a big fuss with medicine. Every medicine has some toxicity, and using too much fungicide will also affect the health of orchids.
