I believe many flower lovers often have expired milk at home, and many people just throw it away. Actually, once expired milk is treated, it can be used to water flowers.

One thing to note here is that milk cannot be used directly to water flowers; it must be fully fermented first. This is because during fermentation, milk releases a large amount of heat, and this heat will burn the plant's roots.

Milk is rich in calcium. Some of the vegetables we commonly see often develop rotting flowers during the flowering period, which is generally due to a lack of calcium.

Mix milk and water at a 1:1 ratio and spray it on the root and stem parts of the plant to prevent this. Or spray it on the plant's leaves.

If the plant you are growing has leaves that are sprayed, you can spray some milk on its leaves at a concentration of about 50 percent, so it will be less susceptible to aphid damage.

So how should milk be fermented? The method is actually very simple: pour the milk and water into a plastic bottle, put the lid on, and leave it in the sun to bake.

Do not screw the bottle cap too tightly, otherwise the bottle cannot release gas. After about a month, it can be used to water flowers.

Mix the fermented milk with water at a 1:20 ratio. Generally, the lower the concentration, the safer it is for watering flowers. Avoid too high a concentration.

If you have expired milk at home, do not throw it away from now on. Ferment it and use it to water flowers, and it can make the flowers grow more beautifully.
