Yesterday a flower friend left a message for Chengcheng, saying they wanted to grow a pot of flowers with a fairly intense fragrance, and asked Chengcheng which flowers have a stronger scent. Actually, there are many flowers with intense fragrance, but Chengcheng's favorite is a plant called orange jasmine (Murraya paniculata)!

Orange jasmine - just hearing the name, can't you already smell its fragrance? Its leaves stay evergreen all year round, its flowers are pure white and their fragrance fills the whole room. Whether you are admiring the foliage or enjoying the flowers, it is truly wonderful!

Moreover, orange jasmine is very easy to grow. It does not have high requirements for soil. If growing it in a pot, we can plant it with garden soil plus river sand and it will grow very well. But since it is potted, to ensure the soil's drainage and airflow, when mixing the soil, the river sand should preferably make up a larger proportion, at least more than half, so that the drainage and airflow of the potting soil can be guaranteed!

Although orange jasmine is a southern flower, it does not particularly like water. Usually, when watering it, do not water too frequently. In spring, summer and autumn, do not water it unless the potting soil has dried out completely. In winter, if the temperature is too low, it will grow very slowly, and watering must be controlled even more!

Orange jasmine grows relatively fast in spring and autumn. At this stage, make sure it has sufficient nutrients. Besides applying compound fertilizer twice a month, also give it one additional supplement of high-phosphorus fertilizer to promote flowering, that is, potassium dihydrogen phosphate!

Orange jasmine is actually just this easy to grow. The only thing to remind everyone to pay attention to is: orange jasmine especially loves light, and we must give it sufficient sunlight all year round. The more sufficient the light, the more flowers it blooms, and the stronger the fragrance! If there is not enough light, although it will not necessarily die, it definitely will not bloom many flowers, and even if it does bloom, the fragrance will not be particularly strong!
