Turn baby's breath into dried flowers - simple, practical and beautiful, give it a try

Flowers & Gardening 0 views
A few days ago, Huahua passed by a flower shop and spotted a bouquet of creamy white baby's breath placed by the window at first glance. She took it home, thinking how much of a pity it would be for such beautiful baby's breath to slowly wither. So Huahua decided to make the baby's breath into dried flowers, so it could be preserved for a long time.

Making dried flowers is actually very simple, and dried flowers have gradually become a trend these days, often coming in handy for photos.

Today Huahua has put together a few simple methods to share with everyone, so your baby's breath can be preserved for a longer time!

There are three ways to make dried baby's breath: air drying, book pressing, and the microwave method. None of these three methods is difficult, and Huahua will explain each one.

1. Air-drying method

Whichever method you use, the first step is to trim the baby's breath. Some flowers may have already withered or been damaged after being left for a while, and these need to be trimmed off. After trimming, tidy up the baby's breath, comb it out, tie it into small bunches, and hang them upside down. Place them in a ventilated and dry place, and after about half a month of air drying, the dried baby's breath is done.

If you still find the baby's breath not attractive enough, you can trim and adjust it again, and those who have the means can also spray on some styling spray.

2. Book-pressing method

The book-pressing method is simply placing the baby's breath inside a book to press it flat. Choose some nice, complete sprigs, divide the baby's breath into several small clusters and press them in the book, but do not use too many at once, as it will be hard to press them well if there are too many. You can place paper towels on both sides of the baby's breath to prevent staining the pages. Once the baby's breath is pressed flat, the dried flowers are basically done. This kind of flat dried flower cannot be put in a vase; the best use for them is to make them into wall art and hang them in a room as decoration.

3. Microwave method

Compared with the other two methods, the microwave is the easiest and fastest. After trimming, cleaning and selecting the baby's breath, sandwich it between cards, secure it with string, and put the cards and flowers together into the microwave for ten seconds, and the dried flowers are done.

Huahua wouldn't dare say much else, but the decorative value of baby's breath really is extraordinary. We can tie the dried baby's breath with hemp rope and put it in a vase, or wrap it in old magazines or newspapers, which also has a distinctive charm.

Huahua has seen baby's breath used as decoration in many magazines and pictures. Girls who love taking photos definitely should not miss this article. I hope these three methods will be helpful to you. Actually, it is not just baby's breath - other plants work too, such as lilies, roses and the like. Dried flowers are not only for decoration; they can also be made into sachets and so on. The only limit is your imagination!
