Many gardening enthusiasts always run into root rot when caring for aloe vera. That's because you don't know how to water it. Read the following knowledge about watering aloe vera carefully.

During the period before the aloe vera revives and takes root, be careful not to water it too much. When watering, it is best to do so in the morning and evening, and normally the potting soil should be kept dry rather than moist.

In spring and autumn, water it about once every five days to a week. When watering, master the principle of watering thoroughly only after the soil has dried out completely.

In summer, the surrounding temperature is relatively high and the evaporation from the potting soil is also great, so you need to water it every two or three days. In the morning and evening, also spray its leaves to keep them moist.

One more thing to note is that the summer sun is quite strong, so you need to build a shade shed to provide shade and prevent it from getting sunburned.

In winter, the surrounding temperature is relatively low, so watering it about once every fifteen to twenty days is enough. Normally you can also spray a little water on its leaves.

When watering aloe vera, the water used is best rainwater or river water, because the tap water we normally use contains too much chlorine, and frequent watering with it will affect the growth of the aloe vera.

If you have watered your aloe vera too much, tilt the flower pot so the excess water inside drains out, then just place it in a dry, ventilated spot.
