Many people keep a few foliage plants at home. Foliage plants have a long ornamental period, are not limited by the seasons, come in a wide variety of species, have graceful forms, and are easy to manage and care for. Pothos, snake plant, and asparagus fern are common potted foliage plants at home, but how can you grow these plants well? We need a few small methods. Today I will share my mother-in-law's little flower-growing experience. In autumn she pours a bottle of "it" into the pot, and pothos, snake plant, and asparagus fern all grow like crazy!

What my mother-in-law pours into the pot is fermented soybean water. Soybeans are rich in nutrients and high in protein, and after decomposition they make excellent flower fertilizer. Moreover, the calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus in soybeans are very helpful for the growth of flowers and plants. Using soybeans as fertilizer does not burn the seedlings and is very good for the growth of flowers and plants.

After soybeans are fermented, they contain abundant growth-promoting substances. In addition, when some soybean fragments are poured into the flowerpot, the potting soil becomes looser and more fertile. It can also reduce the occurrence of potting soil compaction. Everyone knows that once the potting soil compacts, it causes the roots to rot, and over time yellow leaves and withered branches are likely to occur.

The fermentation method for soybean water is also very simple. After boiling the soybeans, mash them, put them into a mineral water bottle, add water, but do not fill it too full; filling it to 90 percent full is enough. Do not screw the cap on too tightly; leave a small gap. Leave it in the yard or on the balcony for about one month and the fermentation is complete. When watering flowers, dilute it with water before watering. It can be used to grow common asparagus fern, rubber tree, schefflera, money tree, spider plant, pothos, inch plant, clivia, gardenia, Chinese rose, and so on. The effect is outstanding, with oily green leaves and each one growing like crazy!
