Growing flowers is good for both body and mind. Every day when I come home and see the pots of flowers and plants placed on the balcony, I feel my mood instantly improve a lot. Actually, in life, flowers and plants, just like cats and dogs, are our "friends", and only when the two look after each other does life become more beautiful, right?

Huahua has said before that the neighbor is a flower-growing expert, and almost every pot of flowers in his home grows extremely vigorously. Just look, he can even grow a jade plant into a "big old stump". Huahua was truly envious, so I hurried to ask for the secret recipe, and in the end I found out that the neighbor had fed his jade plant a different kind of water. Actually, this kind of water is also very common in daily life, and that is the "soybean water" often mentioned when growing flowers!

Soybeans really are a good thing. They contain a large amount of protein and various nutrients, and after being made into thin fertilizer water and fermented, these nutrients can be released even better. Every time you use a bit on a potted jade plant, the branches and buds can grow vigorously, with very remarkable results. So how exactly do you make soybean water? Let's take a look below!

First we select fresh, plump soybeans and soak them in water. After soaking, the skin of the soybeans will wrinkle, which makes the later fermentation of the soybeans even easier. After soaking, the soybeans still need to be boiled until soft in a pot. We scoop out the boiled soft soybeans, and it is best to crush them with a utensil. Finally, put the prepared soybeans into an airtight container like an oil drum, add water to eight-tenths full, and after half a month, once fermentation is complete, it can be used. If you are worried about an unusual smell during fermentation, you can add some orange peel to remove the odor.

The fermented soybean water can be used on a potted jade plant once every half month. After a few months, you will find that the branches of the jade plant at home have really become lush. Besides being diligent with fertilizer water, you also need to treat the daily care methods carefully.

1. Care temperature

The most suitable growing temperature for the jade plant is between 20 and 30 degrees, so the jade plant's growth period is generally concentrated in spring and autumn. This kind of potted jade plant is very afraid of strong light and sun exposure. Once exposed to the sun, not only will the leaves turn yellow, but the growth rate will also slow down. So in summer, we can keep the potted jade plant in a cool, ventilated place, and it will grow better this way. In winter, if the jade plant is being cared for outdoors, it must be moved indoors to prevent damage from low temperatures.

2. Watering amount

If the jade plant is in its growth period, then you must ensure watering once every three days. Summer temperatures are relatively high, so you must control the frequency and amount of watering, so that neither excessive dryness nor excessive wetness occurs. When caring for the jade plant normally, you should also pay attention to ventilation, which can avoid leaf drop.

If the jade plant is cared for properly, blooming is no problem either. A potted jade plant in bloom is simply breathtakingly beautiful! If any friends at home grow jade plants, you can learn together!
