In Yunnan, the most beautiful season for succulents has already arrived. There are too few photos I can post on WeChat Moments, so to make it easy for everyone to see the amazing changes in these succulents, I have prepared this submission. Everyone, get ready for some stunning sights!
Growing succulents is inseparable from the String of Buttons (Crassula perforata); it is still best to have them lead the way, so that the moment you see the opening, you all know I am back again.
Mini String of Buttons
Variegated String of Buttons
Rose String of Buttons
String of Buttons 'Dancing Maiden'
Star Prince (Aeonium 'Zwartkop' hybrid)
Star Prince has fallen in love with the Halloween beauty; the Halloween in its arms is even more beautiful.
A corner of the rooftop reveals the secret garden.
Emerald Ice Aeonium
Aeonium 'Praise' is even more beautiful now.
Bought under the name Cyclops, now it looks almost no different from the round-leaf aeonium.
Kalanchoe thyrsiflora (Paddle Plant), praise me for turning the rotten into something magical! The green giant has transformed into a rosy fairy.
Looks like Aeonium 'Sunburst'; it came to my home as a free leaf-cutting seedling, growing in a tiny pot, almost two years now, and I hope it stays this petite forever.
This summer has been especially rainy; after being drenched it has changed appearance, and I do not know if it can return to how it used to look.
Bought under the name Golden Maria, almost three years old now, and still so beautiful. From the second half of 2017 to early summer 2018 it was listless the whole time, but after this year's rainy summer it is much healthier. It seems I had not been caring for it well.
Ariel Lin (Ling Xue'er), brought home because its name is so similar to the star's; not bad, it has already started to show a star's flair.
Little Beauty (Echeveria 'Little Beauty')
Old-stem Xuhe (Echeveria 'Xuhe')
Jade Plant (Crassula ovata), I hope it can help me rake in a big bucket of gold.
Echeveria 'Qingxing Meiren', hoping it will be even redder after this winter.
Pink Champagne, placing different photos together immediately shows the difference, more and more beautiful; it kept raining, so there is not much color.
After just a little sun, the Yunnan red appears.
Tiger-tail Long Lotus (Echeveria 'Hutwei Lian'), after repotting into a larger pot I love it even more.
Red Fingers (Cotyledon orbiculata var. oblonga), I just love this plump little thing.
The common Echeveria 'Qiu Li', nobody recognizes you anymore.
Flower of Echeveria 'Bai Feng'
Flower of Echeveria 'Dong Meiren'
Flower of Echeveria 'Bitao'
Flower of Chocolate Square Brick (Echeveria 'Chocolate')
Flower of Echeveria 'Guanghan Gong'
Flower of Echeveria 'Wanxia'
Flower of Echeveria 'Aidulisi'
Have you ever seen Kalanchoe thyrsiflora bloom? If not, then look forward to my next photo post.
Last time I promised to introduce the other Halloween aeoniums to everyone, and here they come.
Aeonium 'Lasi Jin', up close.
Small-leaf Aeonium 'Daiguan Qu'
Robin (Echeveria 'Robin'), I was curious about its name, and so it appeared.
Red Wax Winter Cloud (Echeveria 'Hongla Dongyun'), the plant lives up to its name.
Plum Blossom Aeonium 'Podi' bouquet, this is a real example. I could not resist buying it this summer, and it nearly died; luckily the experience I usually learned from the Succulent Plant Encyclopedia official account came in handy, and I have now saved it. Let me add a bit of self-praise: I work at a hospital, and although I am only in logistics, I am fairly well known for healing plants. Details are as follows:
When I received it, I found there was a problem with its roots, so I chopped them off with a big kitchen knife until the cut surface was fresh, then let it dry for a month before potting it. I used ordinary "field soil" plus "weathered stone" and other "granular soil", with a bit more granular soil; once planted, I placed it in the small third-floor courtyard to get rained on, and after almost daily light rain it began to establish roots. Very simple. When growing succulents, observe and inspect them often, and you can grow them all well. Succulents have strong vitality; do not underestimate them.
Aeonium 'Huangzhong Ban', the more I look at it, the more beautiful it is.
Variegated aeonium category, expensive.
Aeonium 'Yangrong' grown from a single head; I shared it last time, and now I am showing it again, since its looks are so good, and it is still my profile picture.
Round-leaf Black Aeonium, I could not find a suitable pot, and the soil is out of stock too, so you three sisters will just have to squeeze in a bit more.
Lemon Shaoxiu, actually just an ordinary Shaoxiu; its color differs with the seasons, so sellers take the opportunity to promote it under a new name.
Aeonium 'Yanzi'
Aeonium 'Jinhui'
Still Aeonium 'Jinhui', just with a difference in color.
Echeveria 'Bitao', grown from a single head, giving myself a like.
Round-leaf Echeveria 'Jin Huangxing'
Echeveria 'Mingyue'? 'Pudding'?
Echeveria 'Tia', no need to wait for winter, it is already a flame now.
There are not only succulents, but also air plants; this time I will show them off a bit.
Haworthia 'Shou', and Haworthia cooperi too.
And these two as well.
So many beautiful succulents together; different angles give different visuals and different colors.
The season succulents love has begun, more and more beautiful photos are appearing, and the Succulent Plant Encyclopedia official account is getting livelier and livelier. Encyclopedia Jun, remember to rest!
Everyone, until next time!
