Autumn is exactly when flowers grow more and more vigorously. If your flowers still aren't growing in autumn, or even have yellowing and falling leaves, wouldn't that be upsetting? Don't worry. Today Huahua will teach everyone a simple and brutal method: just take those problem flowers and cut them down like harvesting chives, and they'll immediately grow like crazy!

Cut a spider plant once, and new leaves will sprout like mad!

Spider plants (Chlorophytum comosum) are among the most commonly grown plants for flower lovers at home, but if your spider plant always has yellow leaves, or is even wilted and droopy, then you might as well try giving it a buzz cut and let it regrow new leaves!

How to do it?

1. If your spider plant has large areas of yellow leaves, or like the flower lover below, has lots of scale insects on the small spider plantlets, or even if you think it has grown into an ugly weed, you can try giving it a buzz cut.

2. With a pair of large scissors, cut off all the leaves about 2-3cm from the roots! Note that if many small plantlets have grown, the stems of the small plantlets should be kept, so be sure not to cut them.

The handful of spider plant leaves that were cut off really do look like weeds!

3. About 20 days after the buzz cut, the spider plant will sprout new leaves. Normally give it plenty of scattered light, and occasionally water it with some fermented rice water, and the spider plant's leaves will grow greener and wider!

Cut the pennywort once, and its leaves will be bigger than 5 coins!

The weather has turned cool, and the sun isn't as harsh as in summer. Everyone should hurry and take advantage of this last window to tidy up the pennywort (Hydrocotyle vulgaris) at home, so you can get round, big leaves!

Steps:

1. If you think your pennywort isn't growing, or the leaves are too small, then you might as well just give it a buzz cut! Whether it's water-cultured or soil-cultured, just cut it about 3-4cm above the pot surface.

2. The big handful of leaves that were cut off, doesn't it look just like harvesting chives?

3. After the buzz cut, it takes only about 10 days for the pennywort to grow new leaves again!

4. If you want the pennywort leaves to grow bigger and bigger, during its growth, besides applying a compound fertilizer once a month, you also need to give it more sun and more water, and the new leaves of the pennywort will grow bigger and bigger!

Cut the clivia once, and its leaves will be so green they shine with oil!

Normally, after clivia (Clivia miniata) passes its summer dormancy, it should grow in autumn, but some flower lovers' clivias have various problems, mainly in the form of rotten cores and rotten leaves. In that case, be ruthless and cut them off, and let it regrow!

How to do it?

1. If the clivia's core rot is severe, then you must remove all the leaves and such, leaving only the intact parts, so it can sprout anew.

2. Find a sterilized pair of scissors and cut off all the rotten core and leaves of the clivia. To prevent bacterial infection, you can also apply some carbendazim powder or potassium permanganate solution to the stump after beheading.

3. Place the beheaded clivia in a cool, ventilated place, don't water too much, and it won't take long before you can see new small buds sprouting from the cut area of the clivia.

4. After the clivia sprouts new buds, be sure to care for it well. Normally place the pot in a place with plenty of scattered light, and water only after the potting soil has dried out. Never let water accumulate in the pot. You can also bury some peanuts and melon seeds in the pot, and the clivia will regrow lush and green!

Cut the pothos once, and it will climb all over the wall like mad!

If your pothos (Epipremnum aureum) at home has been wilted all along and its stems aren't growing much, then you might as well give it a buzz cut now. In just a few days it will grow like crazy!

How to do it?

1. If your pothos has already wilted beyond recognition, no matter whether it's caused by lack of water or some other reason, you need to make up your mind and cut it off ruthlessly!

2. Use scissors to trim close to the pot surface, starting at about 2cm or so!

3. After the buzz cut, place the pothos in a cool, ventilated place, and basically in 7-10 days new leaves will sprout. After that, as long as you ensure ventilation and water it with some rice water or fish tank water, the pothos will grow even more vigorously!

After reading Huahua's introduction,

do you all want to give it a try?

Why not hurry and take advantage of the cooler weather,

and give your plants at home a few cuts!
