Autumn has come around again, and it's time to repot the plants at home! But where do you get all these gardening materials? Of course, you go out and pick them up! Just take a stroll in the park and you can pick up good stuff. Hurry up and learn!

Pick up some pine cones under the trees and line the bottom of the pot, and there will be no more root rot!

1. When you go out for fun on a weekend or holiday, bring a plastic bag along. When you see fallen pine cones on the ground, just pick some up and take them home.

2. Take the pine cones home, soak them in carbendazim for 1 day, fish them out and dry them in the sun to achieve sterilization and disinfection, then place the pine cones directly at the bottom of the pot. Pine cones have fairly large gaps, so lining the bottom of the pot with them achieves a loose, breathable effect, thereby preventing root rot caused by overwatering.

3. After lining the bottom of the pot, the remaining pine cones can be smashed with a small hammer, then sealed with a bit of water to ferment. When the pine cones turn black, they are fully fermented.

4. Mix the fermented pine cones with soil to use as nutrient soil. Pine cones are not only loose and breathable, but the pine oil they contain also has a sterilizing and disinfecting effect, making them very suitable for use as nutrient soil!

Mix some pine needles into the pot and the plants will grow vigorously!

1. Go and poke around under the pine trees in your neighborhood or a park, and you will see a thick layer of pine needles that has fallen on the ground.

2. Take the pine needles home, soak them in carbendazim to disinfect, kill off the bacteria and insect eggs on the pine needles, or you can directly heat them in a microwave at high temperature to sterilize, then add some garden soil and stir, put them in a plastic bag and seal it up.

3. Put the pine needles in the sun and ferment them sealed. Basically after 2-3 months, when the pine needle soil turns black, it is basically fully fermented. The fermented pine needle soil is loose and breathable, very suitable for growing flowers, and can be used as nutrient soil!

4. If you think the fermentation time is too long, you can also directly disinfect the pine needles you brought home, then spread 3-5cm at the bottom of the flowerpot. Pine needles are loose and breathable; lining the bottom of the flowerpot lets excess water drain out and prevents root rot.

5. Of course, you can also choose to spread a layer of pine needles on the surface of the pot. It is not only permeable and breathable, but also adjusts the soil pH, and when you water, it also prevents the potting soil from splashing out.

Besides these introduced by Huahua,

such as leaf mold, river sand, and so on,

you can all go out and pick up some.

Why not take action this weekend!
