Plant these flowers at home in autumn, and your home will be full of blooming flowers all winter and spring

Some flowers are especially suitable to buy in autumn, as they will produce brilliant blooms in winter and spring. Of course, do not choose plants that have already fully bloomed, otherwise they will finish flowering within a few days of being brought home, and it will be hard to maintain a long ornamental period. You should choose plants that are about to develop flower buds.
1. Kalanchoe
Kalanchoe is a succulent plant that blooms in winter and spring. It likes a warm and dry environment year-round. In autumn, you can give it a monopotassium phosphate solution once every 2-3 weeks, and it can be sprayed directly on the leaves. After the weather turns slightly cooler in autumn, gradually increase the light, avoid frequent watering, and water thoroughly only after the soil has completely dried out. Do not pour water on the leaves when watering. The growing environment should remain well ventilated, and the minimum maintenance temperature should stay above 5°C.
2. Ornamental bromeliad

Ornamental bromeliads are tropical flowers, and they are also excellent foliage plants. The growing environment must stay warm and humid year-round. You can keep them on an indoor windowsill. To encourage blooming, give them appropriate light every day, with more than 6-8 hours of light daily.
When caring for ornamental bromeliads, you still need to water regularly to keep the soil moist. After the weather turns cooler, reduce watering. The growing location should maintain relatively high air humidity, avoiding dry air.
3. Christmas cactus
The Christmas cactus is also a succulent plant. During care, be sure to avoid overly frequent watering. It fears intense sun or excessive direct sunlight. You can place it on a windowsill with appropriate scattered light every day; about 3-8 hours of scattered light per day is enough.
When caring for the Christmas cactus, pay attention to maintaining relatively high air humidity. When the air is dry, spray water around it, but be careful not to spray the leaves. At night, keep the environment completely dark. Do not let the maintenance temperature get too high; keeping it between 9-18°C is most suitable. You can give it a monopotassium phosphate solution about once every two weeks.
4. Cyclamen
Cyclamen is a tuberous plant. It likes a warm and humid environment year-round and should be protected from intense sun. You can keep it in a semi-shaded place. When watering, do not pour water on the leaves or flowers.
If it lacks water, its leaves easily wilt. At this point, you can use the soaking method to help it return to a healthy state. When caring for cyclamen, you also need to maintain relatively high air humidity and avoid dryness.
5. Phalaenopsis
Phalaenopsis is suitable for a spot with scattered light every day, and is best placed on an east-facing windowsill. Phalaenopsis is relatively easy to care for. During care, you only need to keep the sphagnum moss moist, but avoid water accumulation, otherwise the roots can easily rot.
During the growing period, you can spray water around it to maintain relatively high air humidity. The most suitable maintenance temperature is between 12-18°C.
6. Narcissus
Narcissus is very suitable to buy in autumn. It can be grown directly in water. You can prepare a shallow basin and add 3 cm of clean water to cultivate it. The narcissus bulb can be placed directly on the shallow basin and fixed with some pebbles. Keep it in a bright location and maintain the temperature at around 18°C. If the leaves grow too tall, you can pour out the clean water at night and add clean water again during the day.
7. Marigold
Marigold likes a warm and dry environment year-round and does not need much water, but it likes ample light. The growing location should receive at least more than 6-8 hours of direct light every day. Choose well-drained sandy soil for cultivation.
