If you flower lovers really want to grow a flower well, the first thing we must do is take good care of the flower's root system. Since we grow flowers at home in flower pots, this places certain limits on the flowers' growth, so nutrients are not that plentiful. That makes our fertilizing work very important. If you want your flowers to grow better, you must remember these several kinds of fertilizer!

(1) Soybeans

If what you grow at home are common foliage plants such as pothos, spider plant, and snake plant, then choosing to use nitrogen fertilizer for them is most suitable. Nitrogen fertilizer can promote the growth of their roots, stems, and leaves, and the most common nitrogen fertilizer material in daily life is our soybeans. Generally, after soaking moldy or shriveled soybeans for a few hours, boil them soft in clean water. Once cooked, you can directly dig a hole at the edge of the pot soil, put a few soybeans in, and then cover them lightly with soil.

Besides doing this, we can also crush the cooked soybeans, put them in a plastic bottle, add water, and place them in a warmer spot to wait for fermentation. After fermentation is complete, it can also be used to water flowers.

(2) Urea

In rural areas, the most common organic fertilizer is urea. The nitrogen fertilizer contained in urea is also relatively high. Generally, flowers and plants in the growth period are very suitable for using urea, but when the flowers reach the bud stage, we need to reduce the use of urea. Using a bit more phosphorus and potassium fertilizer is what can promote blooming.

(3) Sunflower seeds

Using seeds - this method is more suitable for clivia (Clivia miniata). It is a plant that really likes oil-rich crops. When repotting clivia, we can put some sunflower seeds at the bottom of the pot, then cover them with a thick layer of soil, and afterward directly pot the clivia. Peanuts or sunflower seeds both belong to the category of oil-rich crops. Placing them at the bottom of the clivia pot can promote direct root growth, and you will soon find a clivia that has burst out of its pot!

(4) Pine needles

Orchids are rather picky plants, and I believe flower lovers who have grown orchids know this. Moreover, caring for orchids is a relatively difficult matter, and most people cannot grow them well. First, we need to ensure the pot soil is fairly breathable. Second, when preparing the soil mix for orchids, we can add a little pine needle soil into the mix to make the orchid's soil more breathable and airy.

When the soil is in a loose and breathable state, orchids are less likely to develop root rot, and this can also promote the orchid's roots to grow white and plump. It is very good to use. The above four kinds of fertilizer are equivalent to our "power pills." Humans who take power pills can become very strong, and after suitable flowers use these four kinds of fertilizer, bursting out of the pot is simply very easy.
