Pothos is one of the most common flowering plants in the home. It not only adds vitality to a room but also purifies indoor air. Although pothos is fairly easy to care for, many flower lovers say the pothos they grow is completely lifeless, and they do not know the reason. So below I will introduce a little trick that is guaranteed to make pothos grow nonstop.

Grow pothos with soybeans

First, use a soy milk maker to turn the soybeans into soybean powder. Poor-quality soybeans from home can also be used. Then stir 1 jin of soybean powder and 40 jin of clean water evenly, put the mixture into a sealed jar, and place it under the sun to bake. If there is no soy milk maker at home, you can soak the soybeans in warm water for about 4 hours, then put them in a pot and boil them. After they cool, crush the soybeans, put them into a clean plastic bottle and seal it.

During fermentation, soybeans give off a pungent odor. You can add an appropriate amount of orange peel, which not only increases nutrients but also removes the odor. When you open the bottle cap and there is no odor, it means fermentation has succeeded. Then dilute the solution with an appropriate amount of clean water and water the pothos directly with it. It contains the nutrients pothos needs for growth, so it can keep growing nonstop.

In addition, you can also bury cooked soybeans directly into the soil of the pothos, but do not put in too many. Just put in a few grains, otherwise it is easy to burn the roots. In this way, the soybeans can slowly release nutrients, which can make the pothos roots thick and strong, with luxuriant branches and leaves, and it will quickly grow to fill the pot.
