Do potted succulents mind getting rained on? With the right care, they grow more and more beautiful

Succulents can be rained on. Rainwater also contains some nutrients, which to some extent benefits succulent growth, and at the same time it can wash away some of the dust on the succulents. To some extent, getting rained on is just like pouring water over the succulents when you water them, and it is gentler than you are - spring rain moistens things silently. Sometimes I even deliberately let them get rained on. Although they can be rained on, you should treat rain like watering - you wouldn't water them every day, would you? So they cannot be rained on continuously.
Old-stem succulents that have been grown outdoors for a while are fairly resistant to rain, and usually nothing goes wrong even after being rained on for a period of time, and the plant shape and color can still be maintained. Some rather weak, spindly seedlings, for example ones that are clearly leggy from lack of light, will grow even more leggy after rain. Succulents that are sick and succulents that have not yet established their roots should not be put out in the rain.
But there is one problem that deserves special attention: once succulents have been rained on, you no longer know when to water them next. This problem can be solved with the following method: find out how much rainfall the succulents receive each time it rains. Put a cylindrical cup in the outdoor growing environment - as long as it is cylindrical, its diameter does not matter. Then after the rain stops, take a look at the depth of the water collected in the cup, and you will know how much rainwater the succulents received.
After succulents get rained on, can you dry them with a hair dryer? No need, but they should be placed somewhere well ventilated. Succulents can be rained on, because wild succulents have to go through rainfall to grow; they just do not like sitting in a damp environment for long periods. If your succulents are only occasionally rained on, that is a good thing; if it has already been going on for many days, then you can move them to a dry place, or if you are worried about root rot, you can take them out, let them dry, and then replant them.
What should you do if succulents planted only half a month ago get rained on? Getting rained on is a very normal thing. Wild succulents all go through wind and rain, and one rain is equal to one watering. As long as it is not prolonged rain, it will not cause problems like root rot or leaf rot, so you do not need to worry too much. Generally, once succulents have established their roots, rain has the same effect, just do not let it continue.
Why do succulent leaves grow plump after being rained on? Because the air humidity is high and the air circulation is relatively good. It is like how succulents in a greenhouse are brightly colored and thick - it is because of the large day-night temperature difference and high humidity, and good greenhouses install air conditioning to increase air circulation. Rain cannot wash off the farina; only farina wiped off by hand cannot grow back. My Dudleya and Kalanchoe thyrsiflora are both grown outdoors.
