There are many tricks when buying flowers at the flower market; no matter how cheap these three kinds of flowers are, don't buy them

Entering September, the temperature gradually becomes cooler. Many flower lovers' plants died in the past summer, so in this season they inevitably go on a big shopping spree. I took a stroll around the flower market on the weekend, and there were so many varieties that I wanted to take everything home. Qiu Ma wants to remind everyone that buying flowers requires caution, especially when browsing the flower market, where there are more "tricks" than usual. Some flowers absolutely must not be bought.
1. Flowers sprayed with brightening agent
The most typical representative is the anthurium. When buying it, you find it bright red and especially delightful, but after taking it home, within a few days you will find that the anthurium's leaves turn yellow, the red spadix in the middle also begins to fade, until it slowly dies. Under normal circumstances, anthuriums can be very red, but they will not be so red that they shine. That kind of red and shiny anthurium is generally sprayed with brightening agent, and it is extremely difficult to keep alive.
2. Flowers sold at special clearance prices
Especially in flower wholesale markets, you will find that many flowers are much cheaper than the normal price. The owner may tell you that those flowers just arrived earlier and are not blooming as well, but that they will get better after you take them home and care for them. This type of flower is basically one third of the normal selling price. When encountering this kind of flower, Qiu Ma only wants to say that unless you are an expert at growing flowers, absolutely do not buy it just because it is cheap.
3. Out-of-season flowers from other places
As the saying goes, one place's soil and water nurture one place's people. Many times when we visit the flower market, we find some flowers that are not in season blooming especially beautifully and want to buy them and take them home. This type of flower is generally produced in greenhouses in other places and has strict requirements for light, temperature and humidity. Once it leaves the greenhouse and enters your home, you will find that its ability to adapt to the environment is especially poor and it easily dies. So when buying flowers, we should try to buy seasonal and local varieties. Especially for beginners growing flowers, it will adapt to the environment more easily.
No matter which kind of flower we buy, when purchasing we must choose varieties suitable for ourselves based on our own care habits and lighting environment. Even the same kind of flower will grow very differently under different care environments. If you are a beginner at growing flowers, try to start with simple varieties.
