Grow Succulents Like This in Autumn, and You Can Still Get a Full Pot by Winter

Although summer is gone, it has left behind many empty pots. To keep yourself from feeling too heartbroken, your senior is here to teach everyone how to turn empty pots into overflowing pots!
Leaf Propagation
The simplest and most commonly used method for getting a full pot is, of course, leaf propagation~
So today, your senior is going to share with everyone the leaf propagation method that roots most easily!
1. Selecting Leaves & Removing Leaves
Choose thick, plump leaves.
When removing leaves from the mother plant, shake them gently first (be sure to be gentle), then remove them. Never damage the mother plant.
2. Soil
Special succulent soil.
Because it is breathable and not prone to compacting, it is good for the growth of the leaves and the succulents.
3. Planting Method
Place the removed leaves in a cool, ventilated place to dry for 1-2 days so the wounds dry out.
After that, place the leaves on the surface of the soil. Generally, after 3-4 weeks they will produce roots or sprouts.
You can also insert the leaves diagonally into the soil surface 1-2cm.
Finally, keep the succulents indoors in a spot with scattered light.
After rooting, promptly remove leaves that have turned to mush or become moldy. No watering is needed.
The above 3 steps also require disinfection.
Soil disinfection: spray with carbendazim (dilute with water at a weight ratio of 1:1000).
Leaf disinfection: just let the wound at the leaf's growth point dry.
Wait until the wound at the leaf's growth point is completely dry, then place it on the soil. This way, tiny things like microorganisms will not sneak in, and the success rate of leaf propagation will be greatly increased.
Beheading
After summer has passed, there may be a large patch of leggy succulents. Don't worry, we can use beheading to rescue the succulents.
First, disinfect the tools, then behead;
The beheaded top needs to be placed in a cool, ventilated place to dry for 2-3 days, which serves to disinfect the wound;
After that, you can insert the succulent top into the soil. It doesn't need to be inserted too deep; as long as it can touch the soil at 2cm, that's enough;
Place the inserted succulent in a cool, ventilated spot with scattered light. No watering is needed during this period. It will probably root in about 2-3 weeks.
After rooting, water and expose to light, and care for it normally.
As for the remaining succulent stem after beheading, keeping it in a cool, ventilated place can also produce small buds, and it will slowly become a new succulent.
Don't you think getting a full pot is much easier now~
