How to grow succulents so they fill the pot as fast as possible

The beheading method. Everyone knows that when succulents become leggy, reshaping them requires beheading. So-called beheading means destroying the topmost growing point of the succulent. As the top growing point disappears, the plant will naturally look for a new growing point, and the plant itself will also secrete auxin, sprouting new buds on the stem or at the cut site.
In a short time, our succulent will burst from one head into N many heads, and the dominant side buds gradually grow larger, finally forming multiple heads. This method greatly shortens the time for succulents to fill the pot. As for the cut-off branch tip, we can place it on moist soil to induce roots, or the most direct method is to root it in water, then plant it into the original pot after rooting, and there is one more plant.
The leaf cutting method. This method is relatively simple and is also the most commonly used propagation method for succulents. Leaf cutting means using the plant's healthy leaves for propagation. Place healthy leaves on moist soil and keep the soil slightly moist. Before long, the leaves will grow roots and buds. Once the leaf-cutting seedlings grow up, they can be transplanted next to the mother plant to grow together. The more leaf cuttings, the more obvious the pot-filling effect.
Bud-boosting hormone. Reasonable use of bud-boosting hormone can help us quickly realize the dream of a full pot. The main component of bud-boosting hormone is cytokinin, which has multiple effects such as inhibiting the decomposition of chlorophyll, nucleic acid and protein in plants, preserving greenness and preventing aging, and mobilizing amino acids, auxin, inorganic salts and so on within the plant to be transported to the treated site.
Many greenhouse succulents are using it, greatly increasing the growth rate of side buds on succulents.
When using it, note that the concentration should not be too high and should be within the normal range, with a cycle of 3~4 months. Generally speaking, after spraying bud-boosting hormone, the effect will not be seen immediately. You need to wait about 1 or 2 months, and then you will see the stems full of newly sprouted small buds.
Repeated beheading and leaf cutting, combined with bud-boosting hormone, can let you obtain "the fastest" pot-filling succulents in the shortest time.
