What is most enviable in late autumn is undoubtedly the beauty of the setting sun and the succulents seen everywhere on the pedestrian street, enough to make people linger. You cannot resist buying them, yet after buying them you still feel unsatisfied; they are so beautiful that you cannot bear not to look at them one more time.

The reason succulent plants have always sold well, I think, comes down to these points: they are small and exquisite, easy to care for; after caring for them, you gain physical and mental cultivation; give one to a girl, and you are even called a warm-hearted man. Who would not want to do something that yields lasting benefits with one effort? Yet there happens to be an impostor in the succulent world that infiltrated the candle circle, posted a selfie to Moments, and still was not discovered.

That is right, this kind of candle looks exactly like a succulent plant. Even without sunlight and rain, it can still bloom lush and green, and with a little flame, it shines like a star. Where does this confidence come from? It is all because of its pretty appearance and vain personality! In the end, this undercover agent was betrayed by a wick, and suddenly there was an uproar.

The first impression upon seeing a succulent candle is that it is a pot of succulent plants! Whether it is a jade plant, an Echeveria 'Rainbow', or a cactus, all are made of wax, so lifelike that when placed on a windowsill, it really is a pot of succulents. Look closely, and you cannot see any flaw; smell closely, and there is a natural fragrance. Passing off the fake as genuine is truly an art!

Celebrity wax figures reveal their beauty or ugliness on their own, but plant wax figures are not so easy to distinguish. In a world where the fake passes as real, it is the darling of the plant world and the traitor of the candle world; those candles that think they look decent surely cannot tolerate it. So each wax has its own fate: some are used to purify formaldehyde, some are used to polish zippers, and only it celebrates the holiday within a flower center.

In the long, leisurely nights, if starlight could keep you company, nothing could be better. But after all, that is in the sky, not a romance within easy reach. The wonder of succulent candles often lies in this: no matter how many people there are, everyone can keep watch over a faint glimmer of light and see how it fills the atmosphere among the plants.

So scented candles are about excitement, while the duty of lighting has long been assigned to electric bulbs. Apart from those with special hobbies who play with candles, most people light candles to relieve stress or do yoga, in order to achieve physical and mental relaxation and pleasure. The chemical fragrances contained in many inferior candles smell pungent, and long-term inhalation by the human body not only has no stress-relieving effect, but instead adds illness.

Succulent candles, by contrast, are made with natural soy wax and natural beeswax, green and environmentally friendly in themselves, giving off a faint fresh fragrance when lit, with clear candlelight, unlike ordinary candles that spew pungent odors. They let you place them on a cake or beside a dinner plate without fear, so that while enjoying a sumptuous evening banquet, you can feel the gentle time set off by candlelight.

The only worry is that once you truly hold it in your hands, you cannot bear to light it, letting such a lush and plump plant dissolve in the flame, as if burning away a piece of jade or a gemstone. However, wax does not keep for long, just like the life of a plant: where there is blooming, there is withering. The preservation and care of good wax should also be like tending a pot of succulents.
