Autumn celery has good quality. How do you grow celery after the start of autumn?

Summary: Autumn celery has excellent taste and yield. How do you grow autumn celery well?
The weather is now turning cooler, and the Autumn Equinox is about to arrive. Many vegetables can no longer be planted. However, because celery is a cool-loving plant, autumn should be the most suitable season for growing celery. Celery can also be grown in winter, but because winters in northern regions are severely cold, it is still not very suitable for growing there. Only some areas in the south can grow it in winter. If people in the north want to grow it, they can use protected cultivation.
Celery planting time:
Because celery varieties and growing environments differ, planting times also vary somewhat. Generally speaking, however, spring and autumn should be the most suitable seasons for growing celery, while winter and summer are less suitable.
Spring celery in the north is generally planted from January to March each year, but because it is still rather cold during this period, protected cultivation is best. In southern regions, planting generally begins in March each spring.
Summer celery is generally raised as seedlings after Grain Rain in spring each year. By this time the frost has ended, and rising temperatures make it suitable for raising seedlings. However, as mentioned earlier, celery likes a cool and mild growing environment, while summer temperatures are higher, stuffy, hot and rainy, so celery in this season does not grow very well, and yields are not high either.
Autumn celery in northern regions is generally raised as seedlings from June to July each year, while in southern regions planting begins from July to September.
Winter celery is grown relatively little, because temperatures in northern regions are very low and not suitable for growing winter celery. Winter celery is generally grown in the south, usually from September to November each year.
Winter celery planting techniques:
Although winter celery is somewhat more troublesome to grow, the Spring Festival period is the peak sales season for celery, so many growers still choose to grow it in winter. As mentioned above, winter celery needs to be grown under protected cultivation, generally starting in late September each year.
Before planting, growers need to make a reasonable choice of celery varieties suited to the local market based on local celery market conditions. Preferences for celery varieties differ from region to region, so this point needs to be understood clearly in advance. In addition, celery varieties with relatively strong cold resistance need to be selected.
Before planting, the vegetable plot needs to be sun-dried, plowed, and bedded, and then sufficient base fertilizer should be applied. After sowing, appropriate shading and watering are needed to keep the field moist. Seedlings generally emerge in about two weeks. After the seedlings emerge, pest and disease prevention work needs to be carried out promptly.
Before transplanting celery, the greenhouse plot needs to be prepared and sufficient base fertilizer applied. About 2,000 kg of organic fertilizer is needed per mu. Transplanting is generally carried out in mid-to-late November. The day before transplanting, the plot needs to be watered thoroughly to make planting easier. During transplanting, large and small seedlings need to be separated, which can avoid the situation where large seedlings bully small seedlings. Harvest can generally be done in January.
