Succulents are one of my favorite indoor potted plants. Their plump little leaves are really adorable, and I think succulents are also one of the easier plants to keep alive. I don't know why some people say succulents are hard to grow. Today I'm going to tell you some methods for growing succulents. Once you learn these methods, you'll definitely be able to grow succulents really well. Learn from me! Understand the things to keep in mind when caring for succulents, and you'll never have to worry about succulents dying on you again!

When growing succulents, there are things to note about watering. When the succulent is a small seedling, you need to water a small amount each time, and water frequently - the principle is to keep the soil moist at all times but not soggy. Seedling roots are very fragile, and too much water can easily cause the roots of the succulent to rot. No wonder your succulent dies! Then, for a grown and mature succulent, the watering principle changes somewhat. Each time you water, you must water thoroughly. After watering thoroughly once, wait until the soil is almost dry and then water thoroughly again, and just repeat this cycle. This is because once mature, the succulent's root system is also more developed and extensive, so it absorbs more water, and the amount of water given must be increased. But at the same time, you must also be careful not to let it stay in a soggy state. Overly wet soil can very easily cause the plant's roots to rot, and this is true for any flower.

There's also the flower pot for growing succulents, which is also very important. Succulents suit loose, airy soil, so the pot for growing them is best if it has drainage holes. The importance of drainage holes is very great - this not only lets the plant's roots breathe, but drainage is also very good, so the plant will grow better. And the plant's roots are also less likely to rot. If you find that the plant's roots have started to rot, don't worry - there is a way to save it. First, we need to promptly take the plant's roots out, cut off the already rotted roots, apply some carbendazim to the cut areas, and leave it in a ventilated, shady place to dry, and then plant it back into the soil.

Another thing to note is that succulents should not be kept in a stuffy indoor room all the time, as this will also prevent them from growing well, because succulents really are not suited to growing long-term in a stuffy environment. If you have time, you must take the succulents outside to air and sun them, but what you must avoid is taking them out at high noon, and also do not put them under direct sunlight, as succulents can easily get damaged this way.
