When it comes to sowing seeds, many gardening friends' first impression is that it's so hard, and they surely can't do it! But actually sowing is very easy, as long as you find the right method! Today Huahua teaches everyone 3 sowing methods, guaranteed 100% germination!

Plastic bottle sowing method, saves money and worry!

1. Find a discarded plastic bottle, cut it into three parts: top, middle and bottom. Keep only the top and bottom parts; the middle part is not needed and can be thrown away.

2. Prepare loose, breathable nutrient soil. For the sowing soil you can use peat soil : vermiculite : coal cinders = 2:1:1. Before use it must be sterilized by sun exposure, or sprayed with carbendazim for sterilization.

3. Spray it wet, pour it into the bottom part of the plastic bottle, then scatter the seeds on top. For seeds that need covering with soil, sprinkle a thin layer of soil over them.

3. Use a plastic bag or cling film to cover the mouth of the bottle after sowing, and place it in a spot with scattered light, not direct sun. Spray water on the soil surface 2-3 times a day to keep it moist, and ventilate for about 2 hours.

4. After a few days, when the seeds have sprouted, you can move it to a spot with good ventilation and light, and remove the plastic film.

But the seedlings are too fragile and can't take strong sun or wind. At this point, you can put the top part back on, which both keeps moisture in and protects the seedlings.

Paper towel germination sowing method!

1. Prepare a few wet paper towels, a disposable lunch box, and seeds that are relatively large.

2. Wash the wet paper towels clean with clear water, keep them moist, spread them in the disposable lunch box, and scatter the seeds on the surface of the wet paper towels.

3. Use an awl to poke a few holes in the lid of the disposable lunch box, then put the lid on and place it in a cool spot.

4. When the wet paper towels dry out, spray water on them. Within 1-2 days, the seeds will sprout.

5. The wet paper towel germination method is suitable for relatively large seeds: such as bowl lotus, nasturtium, geranium, morning glory, various fruits, etc. It is not suitable for tiny seeds!

Seedling block sowing method!

1. Seedling blocks are the simplest sowing method of all; you only need to buy a few seedling blocks like the ones in the picture below.

2. Soak the seedling blocks in water or spray them with water, so the seedling blocks fully absorb water and expand.

3. Put the seeds, or pelleted seeds (tiny seeds are coated with a sugar coating and are called pelleted seeds), into the groove in the middle of the seedling block.

4. For those that don't need soil covering, just leave them like that. For those that do need soil covering, pick up a bit of soil from the edge of the seedling block and cover the seeds with it.

5. Put the seedling blocks in a spot with scattered light and ventilation, and the little sprouts will quickly poke out! At this point, just water and sun them normally. When the seedlings grow bigger, plant the seedling blocks together into a large pot; it's very convenient.
