If you sit on a chair made of wire, will it collapse?

The Modern Shanghai Fashion Home Exhibition currently being held in Shanghai is really worth a visit; the things at this exhibition are truly unforgettable. Not only are there all kinds of fashionable home goods, but on the second floor of the exhibition hall there are also many unique designs. For example, this chair made of wire is very eye-catching.

After seeing it, many people run up to take photos. But if you look carefully, you will notice. It is made entirely from something like wire, and the whole sofa has not a single point of support.

Here is a detail shot; it really is made of wire. And below it there is also a sign attached: Please do not sit on it.

Seeing this chair, don't you find it quite curious?

I wonder if it would collapse if you sat on it? What is the designer trying to express?
