The candle burned for ages yet never seemed to shrink; curious, I touched it and discovered the trick

These past few days I've been traveling in Shanghai and visited the Modern Shanghai Fashion Home Exhibition. The items at the exhibition are all very stylish, and many are also creative. For example, in a shop selling household items and indoor ornaments, what I saw. This shop sells things like vases and stylish ornaments. Very eye-catching. Among the many ornaments, a very thick candle was also lit. By rights this candle is quite ordinary, nothing to be surprised about.
But I browsed in this shop for over 20 minutes, and it simply never got smaller. And the candle was burning, yet no wax dripped down, which was quite puzzling.
Could this be some new kind of material?
It burns but doesn't get used up? But the more I looked at it, the more the flame seemed off, not moving at all.
So out of curiosity I touched it with my hand, and only then discovered the "trick"! It turns out this isn't a real candle at all, but a candle-shaped lamp. Under its flame is just a small light bulb, and the light shining on this flame shape is enough to fool the eye. Look at this little thing, it's quite creative, isn't it?
