One snip of the scissors, and who would have thought the plant would go wild with growth

In the process of growing flowers, surely everyone has encountered situations where flowers are wilting or suffering from severe disease, or even on the brink of death. In fact, at such times there is no need to be overly anxious and worried. Just take a pair of scissors and ruthlessly cut the plant, and it can become the turning point for a flower to come back to life.
Asparagus fern
If you find that the asparagus fern in your home is suffering from a relatively severe pest or disease problem, or is losing too many leaves and growing poorly, you can give it a close-cropping treatment, which helps the asparagus fern sprout and grow again.
First sterilize the scissors, then choose a spot above the root of the asparagus fern and cut it off in one go, keeping only about five centimeters.
Then care for the asparagus fern in a place with weaker indirect light, avoiding direct sun exposure. There is no need to water too much; just keep the soil in the pot slightly moist.
Basically, as long as the root system of the asparagus fern is not damaged, after a period of care the asparagus fern will grow new branches and leaves again.
Kalanchoe
When kalanchoe shows large areas of pest or disease damage, yellow leaves, and so on, it needs to be given a close-cropping treatment. Cutting off the stems and leaves that are growing poorly may be very helpful for the flower's recovery.
You can use scissors to cut off all the poorly growing leaves and stems of the kalanchoe, then apply some carbendazim solution to the wounds.
After close cropping, do not place the kalanchoe in the sun. It is best to place it in a cool, ventilated place and care for it carefully, reducing the amount of watering and controlling water appropriately. When watering, be sure not to let water droplets splash onto the stems and leaves of the plant.
Spider plant
When the spider plant is growing poorly or its leaves show large areas of withering and yellowing, you need to use scissors to trim it. The best time to give the spider plant a close cropping is in early spring each year.
Choose a relatively sharp pair of scissors, then cut off all the leaves of the spider plant, keeping only about four centimeters above the root.
Afterward, care for the spider plant in a cool, ventilated place, do not water too much, and wait until new shoots emerge before carrying out normal watering and other care.
Money tree
If you find that the branches and leaves of the money tree in your home are turning yellow and withering over a large area, or even nearing the edge of death, at this time one snip of the scissors may be able to save the money tree.
Use sterilized scissors to cut off all the branches of the money tree, leaving only about 3 centimeters of the stem.
Then care for the money tree in a cool, ventilated place with indirect light. Do not water it for a short period, but you can spray some clean water around it to increase air humidity. After about two weeks, the money tree will grow new branches and leaves.
Rose
When you find that a rose has suffered relatively severe pest or disease damage or is growing weakly and poorly, you can consider using close cropping to make the flower come back to life.
Use scissors to cut off all the poorly growing branches and leaves of the rose. Do not feel too sorry; the parts that should be cut must all be cut off.
Afterward, care for the rose in a well-ventilated place with indirect light. You can immediately supplement some nutrients for the rose, such as diluted organic fertilizer, to provide a little help for the rose's early recovery.
Jasmine
When jasmine is growing very poorly, or even has withered and yellowed branches and leaves that are wilting and nearing death, you can make the plant sprout again by giving the flower a close cropping.
You can cut off all the leaves and the weaker, diseased branches and leaves of the jasmine. Branches that are too long or unattractive in growth should also be pruned. Do not be afraid that this will affect its normal growth.
Afterward, use a spray bottle to spray a little water on the root area of the jasmine to create a relatively moist environment for it. Then just care for it in a well-ventilated location. Do not fertilize too early; it is not too late to apply fertilizer after the new shoots have grown stably.
