Give your aloe a chop like this and it will grow like crazy and sprout pups until the pot can't hold them all

A few days ago someone asked Huahua: the aloe at home is getting uglier and uglier, not only is its "head" big and its "body" long, but it has all bent its "waist". In this situation, we can chop off the head with one cut and replant it, and the same treatment works for aloe with root rot too!
Beheading and cuttings, at worst you just start over from scratch
1. Beheading
First we need to prepare the tools for the big slaughter. What Huahua uses is the big kitchen knife from home, and it must be disinfected before use.
Choose the spot where you want to cut, for example where it has grown crooked or where the roots have rotted. If you cut the aloe right next to the leaves, we need to peel off a few leaves from the lower part of the plant, because its roots all grow from the leaf bases on the stem.
2. Drying the roots
After beheading, put the aloe in a cool place to dry the roots. Usually you need to dry the roots for more than 1 week, and only when the cut has completely dried and shriveled can it be potted. Don't worry that it will dry out and die; the roots turning slightly red is also a normal phenomenon.
3. Soil
As for the potting soil, if you don't change it now, when will you? You can choose garden soil and humus soil with a small amount of coal cinder added. If the soil was freshly dug from the wild, don't forget to bake it under the blazing sun for a few days to sterilize it and kill insects.
4. Potting
When replanting, we'd best use moist soil for potting, that is, a state where it forms a ball when you squeeze it in your hand and crumbles apart at a touch. After the aloe is potted and settled, put it in a place without direct sunlight, and by no means water it again; wait until the soil is dry before watering.
5. Care
Because it needs to grow new roots, the recovery period will be a bit longer. Once we observe that the plant is resuming growth, we can gradually increase the light.
So don't give up on an aloe with root rot; the method Huahua taught you can bring it back from the dead! And because it has grown new roots, its growth will only get better. Apart from flower lovers who want to grow old bonsai-style plants, for aloe that has grown crooked, we can also use this method to correct it.
Don't be too good to it, and only then will it grow like crazy
1. Light
The aloe at home is best kept on the balcony, with at least sufficient scattered light guaranteed. Aloe also needs light to grow sturdy, and when the summer light is too strong you can shade it appropriately.
Huahua reminds you: if your aloe has been in a place with poor light for a long time, we can't suddenly move it to a place with strong light. We must slowly increase its light intensity and duration, letting it adapt to the environment bit by bit, otherwise it will easily be sun-dried into aloe jerky!
2. Water
Many flower lovers' aloe died from root rot, so when caring for aloe normally, it's best to keep the potting soil on the dry side. By no means should there be standing water. Don't be too good to it, and you may get an unexpected surprise.
3. Soil and fertilizer
Huahua has already talked about the soil above. Actually, as long as you make up a potting soil that is loose, breathable and well-draining, you can largely avoid root rot caused by standing water from overwatering.
As for fertilizer, you can appropriately apply some well-fermented organic fertilizer, such as cake fertilizer and chicken manure.
