Is there a flower that is easy to grow, can also grow on walls, roots easily from cuttings, blooms beautifully, rarely gets sick, and makes everyone envy you if you have one pot at home? That's right, this flower is the Dendrobium! Today Yatou will introduce the care methods and common varieties of Dendrobium! If you like it, plant a pot at home!

Common Dendrobium varieties

Dendrobium primulinum

The flowers are purple with white in the center, and up close they are covered with tiny fine hairs! Doesn't it give you a cute and adorable feeling!

Dendrobium fimbriatum

This variety has relatively larger flowers, with pure white petals and red spots in the center.

Dendrobium loddigesii

Maybe it's because of the photos Yatou chose, but why can't you tell it looks like a lantern!

Dendrobium nobile

The petals are relatively firm and upright, quite like a small bamboo!

Double-petaled Dendrobium

This is one of the prettier yellow varieties in Yatou's opinion.

There are thousands upon thousands of beautiful varieties, so the rest are best left for everyone to explore on their own!

How to grow Dendrobium

First you need to prepare some materials, bark or sphagnum moss, which help keep the branches moist and well-drained after planting. Also, a regular flower pot and loose soil!

If you are planting with small seedlings, you can plant them directly. If you are using branches, just stick them in as cuttings. Because the surface has sphagnum moss to retain moisture, be careful not to water too much, to avoid waterlogging that causes the branches to rot and affects rooting!

Once planted, take good care of it, and maybe it really will grow into a big waterfall!
