Grow garlic sprouts in an oil drum: 1 jin of garlic grows into a "column" in 10 days, water it a little and you won't finish eating it all winter

1 oil drum and 1 jin of garlic, growing into a "garlic sprout column" in 10 days

Oil drums like this are very common at home. Usually, once the oil is used up, the drum is useless, but sometimes, when you think about it, selling an oil drum is not worth much and throwing it away is a pity, so it is better to process the oil drum like this and use it to grow garlic; it is a very good container.

Use an electric soldering iron or scissors to make several holes in the side wall of the oil drum, as many as you can, then fill the oil drum with moist soil used for growing flowers, break apart all the prepared garlic into individual cloves, and then bury the root end of each clove in the soil. Basically, a 5-liter oil drum can grow 1 jin of garlic.

After planting, place the oil drum in a cool place and spray with clean water to keep the soil moist. In 3 days you can see the garlic sprouting. In 10 days, dense garlic sprouts will grow. You can cut the grown garlic sprouts and use them for stir-frying or as seasoning; they are excellent. During later care, you can basically cut one crop of garlic sprouts every 10 days, and after cutting they will keep growing.

Water it a little and you won't finish eating it all winter

It is now autumn, which is also the time when garlic sprouts. Grow one drum of garlic sprouts like this at home, and basically for a whole winter you can eat fresh garlic sprouts. Because the soil chosen is for growing flowers, the nutrients can fully meet the growth needs of the garlic sprouts. During care, there is no need to consider applying fertilizer or spraying fertilizer, and the garlic sprouts that grow are purely natural, green and healthy.

When watering, pour directly from the mouth of the oil drum, watering slowly to make sure all the soil is moist. Garlic is a relatively drought-tolerant plant, so do not water too frequently.

Of course, you can also process the oil drums at home in the same way and grow some green vegetables, lettuce, and cilantro in the drum. They can likewise grow into dense, emerald-green vegetables, which are not only ornamental but also edible, saving money on buying vegetables. It is also a process of reusing waste, and the vegetables that grow are green, healthy and pollution-free.
