Don't know how to grow African jasmine? That's because you don't know these things

I wonder if any of you flower lovers have heard of African jasmine. Actually, its real name is grey star jasmine (Fagraea ceilanica), and it is a completely different species from jasmine. Apart from the fact that its leaves are also opposite and its flowers are also fragrant, there is nothing else similar about them.
The reason it is called African jasmine is also because its name sounds very similar to jasmine, and vendors, for the convenience of selling it, simply called it African jasmine.
So, do you know how to care for African jasmine?
Soil
If you are growing it in the south, loose, well-draining sandy loam is enough. In the north, mix leaf mold, river sand, organic fertilizer and sawdust in a ratio of 7:1:1:1, and during its growing season, be sure to loosen the soil for it every month.
Light
Most of its native environment is semi-shaded, so if you are cultivating it in South China, do it in a spot with slight shade; in the north, you can let it receive full sunlight in spring and autumn, and be sure to shade it in summer.
Water
When watering normally, keep its potting soil moist, but be careful to avoid waterlogging. Especially when the plum rain season arrives, take care to prevent water from accumulating in the potting soil and rotting the roots.
Fertilizer
During its growing season, apply decomposed cake fertilizer about once a month. Before it blooms, apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizer once or twice, which can promote the formation of its flower buds. After its flowers fade, apply a little more phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to replenish nutrients, which can help it get through winter safely.
Temperature
The optimal growing temperature is between 18 and 32 degrees. If the temperature is higher than 38 degrees, its growth will be inhibited, causing it to stop growing and so on. In winter, the indoor temperature must not be lower than 3 to 5 degrees.
African jasmine is also very beautiful when it blooms. Hurry and grow a pot at home.
