Many gardening enthusiasts love to keep a few pots of gardenias, jasmine and the like at home. These are among the more popular varieties of flowers, with very high ornamental appeal and excellent ornamental value. However, in the process of caring for these flowers there is always one big problem: these types of flowers all prefer acidic soil, but because soil in the north tends to be alkaline, they often develop yellow leaves. When this happens, spray "it" lightly, once every 7 days, and they will never turn yellow again!

1. Vinegar solution

You can use 10 g of vinegar plus 3 kg of clean water, and spray it on the plant leaves before 10 a.m. and after 4 p.m. Spray once every 10 days, and after 4-5 consecutive sprays the leaves can turn from yellow to green.

2. Vitamin C solution

Using vitamin C to water flowers can help root development, and can also neutralize the pH value, that is, make the soil more acidic. Besides being used to water flowers, you can also put it in a spray bottle and use it to spray the leaves of flowers. This not only washes off the dust on them, but also supplements nutrients, making the leaves grow more glossy green and thick.

Do not use it too frequently, and be sure to control the amount used well. During the growing period, using it once every 10 days is enough.

3. Ferrous sulfate solution

If the leaves turn yellow or even scorch because the acidity in the potting soil has weakened, you can use ferrous sulfate to alleviate this problem. The amount of ferrous sulfate is preferably 5 g to 7 g per pot, and for watering or spraying, 0.2% to 0.5% is preferable.

With these very effective homemade sprays, give the flowers at home a light spray, and azaleas, gardenias, jasmine and the like are guaranteed never to have yellow leaves again.
