Take cuttings in autumn and they grow like crazy, changing every day, and within a month you'll have flowers to enjoy

What can you do in autumn? Of course, take cuttings again and again. Don't be fooled by how simple those two words sound - in practice there's a whole art to it! Your technique has to be up to scratch, and you have to pick the right flower! Take this one, for example!
Moss rose
Also known as "can't-die plant", it has tenacious vitality and grows very quickly! If you want cuttings to show results fast, it's the best choice. For impatient people who want to take a cutting and see the plant bloom right away, but worry their technique isn't up to scratch, moss rose is the one to pick!
How to take cuttings
Moss rose blooms from May to November, with peak bloom usually in July and August. Right now, some flowers have just faded, but there are still scattered blooms here and there! Taking cuttings now works well too!
Step one: choose sturdy branches, try to pick ones without flowers, and choose relatively upright branches, so the branches that grow out will look relatively more attractive!
Step two: prepare the potting soil. Moss rose has tenacious vitality and can survive with just soil and water. Still, to make rooting cuttings easier, it's best to choose loose, sandy soil. Water it thoroughly and set it aside!
Step three: insert the moistened branches into the soil! You can root cuttings of different colors in one flowerpot, so once they bloom the whole pot will be a riot of color!
Step four: if the cuttings are relatively long, they'll basically take root in a week, and within a month they'll definitely bloom! There's also a little trick for getting a full, overflowing pot: keep pinching off branches and taking more cuttings! As soon as a branch grows long, you can do it!
