Autumn has arrived, and the weather is gradually turning cooler. The plants and flowers kept at home are also recovering their growth one after another, and for flowers such as kalanchoe, clivia, and bougainvillea, they will enter their flowering period, begin to form buds and bloom, so care is especially important. Feed them "this," and their branches will thicken, leaves turn green, and buds will keep forming!

1. Kalanchoe

After autumn arrives, kalanchoe quickly resumes growth. Fertilizer and water must be sufficient to keep it forming buds continuously. Maintain 50% humidity, and as soon as the potting soil shows signs of turning white, water it thoroughly. When watering, mix in a little ferrous sulfate to improve the soil's acidity and alkalinity and provide iron, which makes the branches and leaves more emerald green and glossy, speeds up photosynthesis, and helps it form more buds.

When kalanchoe is differentiating flower buds, you can spray it an additional 2-3 times with a 0.3% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution to make the flowers more vivid and extend the flowering period.

2. Clivia

After autumn arrives, clivia slowly wakes from its dormant period. The amount of water should be gradually increased, and keeping the potting soil moist but not wet is best. Since clivia likes oily fertilizers, when watering you can mix in a little cooking oil, just one small spoonful. Stir it thoroughly and evenly, then slowly pour it in from the edge of the flowerpot. Using it 2-3 times each month is enough to make clivia's leaves deep green and glossy, differentiate flower buds, and send up flower stalks.

3. Bougainvillea

After autumn arrives, bougainvillea begins forming buds continuously. In the early stage, you should control its water for half a month, which can make it bloom more uniformly and abundantly. When watering, wait until the potting soil is dry and the branches and leaves show slight signs of wilting before doing so. During the water-control period, do not fertilize, to prevent root burn.

After half a month, resume normal watering. When watering, you can mix in a little bone meal. Bone meal is rich in phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, which can promote flower bud differentiation and the growth of flower buds, and can make bougainvillea produce more and more vivid flowers.

That is all for these 3 flowers in autumn. If flower lovers have other additions, you can share them with everyone in the comment section below. If you want to learn more about flower growing, you can follow Huajianke!
