In general orchid growing, there is only one chance to sprout in a year. If managed well, it will be more than once a year, and it will sprout twice, but this is not something the average orchid grower can achieve. To make an orchid sprout twice a year, grow quickly, and bloom abundantly, special care methods are needed. Today, drawing on the care methods of many experienced growers as well as my own years of practical experience, I introduce the following three methods for reference.

1. The reason wild orchids grow strong, with deep green leaves and abundant blooms, is that the environment there shapes them. Therefore, for home-grown orchids to grow well, bloom abundantly, and sprout plentifully, they must be kept close to a natural environment. If you have time, you can visit some orchid nurseries and see why their orchids grow so well. It is because their orchids completely imitate the natural environment: in winter they are covered with plastic film, and in summer the film is removed and shade netting is used. Except in winter, they endure wind and rain all year round. So for home growing, except in winter when they are brought indoors, in the other seasons they should be placed outdoors in a spot with half shade and half sun, receiving scattered light by day and enjoying the moisture of rain and dew at night.

2. Besides receiving scattered light during the day, after the sun goes down it is best to use a plant fluorescent lamp to illuminate them for 3--5 hours, so as to fully promote photosynthesis, which benefits the growth of orchid buds and the absorption of nutrients. It has a great effect on sprouting and blooming.

3. Use natural active fertilizer for orchids. This fertilizer has a special effect on orchids, and it is generally sold at flower markets (it can also be replaced with Lanjun Wang). It is also super simple to use: just place 1-2 granules of fertilizer on the surface of the pot or apply them in a trench, and this fertilizer can produce numerous beneficial orchid fungi in the growing medium, promoting better growth of the orchid.
