Cut a Clivia once and 6 shoots sprout in 10 days, so many clustered plants the pot can hardly hold them

Huahua kept a Clivia at home, and it hadn't grown at all for a year or two, and after summer its leaves were covered in damage. Recently Mom made up her mind and "beheaded" it, and unexpectedly, more than a month later, it actually grew five or six little heads!
Clivia "Beheading" Diary
1、
Clivia is too fussy, not to mention slow-growing, and once summer is over the leaves are too ugly to look at. Anyway, trimmed leaves look ugly, so it's better to just behead it!
2、
Prepare the sharpest big kitchen knife in the house, scorch the blade with a lighter, then quick, ruthless and precise, cut the Clivia flat in one go, and don't forget to sprinkle some carbendazim on the cut to avoid infection!
3、
After cutting, you feel completely relaxed. Two or three days later (without watering either), go take a look and the condition is still pretty good. The cut is a bit dry, which means it has healed. Feel the potting soil, and if it's already dry, water it a little.
4、
After 1 week, you can feel the roots have changed a bit, and small shoots have already broken the surface. Counting them, there are 5, so exciting! At this time, absolutely do not put it in the sun. Mist the surrounding air every day to keep it humid.
5、
At 10 days, the small shoots have turned green, which means they have stabilized, and they need a bit of sunlight, so from 9 to 10 in the morning, give them a little sun.
6、
At half a month, the small shoots have already opened up and look very dense. At this time also water less, keep humidity high, and give appropriate sun.
7、
The small shoots grow aggressively and fully open up in 20 days. The ones at the very top with plenty of sunlight are bigger, and the ones below that are shaded are smaller, so you need to frequently rotate the position so they receive light.
8、
At 1 month they are already glossy and smooth. During this period I added nutrient solution once, and they actually grew this fast. I have to say, this beheading was really worth it, one plant became 6, and the original flower pot is no longer enough to plant them all!
Huahua's home has the same kind of nutrient solution, click the image below to buy it directly~
How to Care for Clustered Clivia
1. Change the pot in time, and provide full light
Although Clivia is afraid of sun, it still needs to be placed somewhere with slightly better light to grow glossy green leaves. Clustered Clivia has many leaves and they easily shade each other, so rotate the pot more to let every leaf photosynthesize evenly.
2. Division
If too many shoots emerge after beheading and you're afraid you can't care for them well, you can also cut off the small plantlets and insert them in sandy soil to re-root and plant, so that 1 pot can become many pots. But it's best to wait until the temperature is around 23 degrees to do this.
3. "Bathe" often, and keep it clean
Because there are many leaves, dust and standing water easily collect in the gaps, breeding bacteria that cause fungal disease. So when watering, be careful not to splash into the gaps, and often wipe the leaf surfaces to keep them clean and hygienic.
4. Beer fertilizer is also a nutrient solution
Surely everyone knows Clivia loves to "drink" beer. Besides the nutrient solution we buy, you can also wipe the leaves with beer diluted in water (1:10), or pour it into the pot. Not only can it make Clivia leaves deeper green, it can also force flowering.
4. If it won't bloom, shut it in a dark room
With a large day-night temperature difference, Clivia tends to bloom more easily. We can simulate the temperature difference: first put it somewhere with good light for about 3 days, then shut it in a darker corner for 3 days, and repeat several times, and it will be "tricked" into blooming.
So clustered Clivia is actually this easy to handle
