Pothos always getting yellow leaves? It turns out the placement is wrong - there's an art to the details of plant care

Regardless of wealth, the best decoration in a home is green plants. Even if you're rolling in money and your home is glittering and splendid, it's still not as good as being surrounded by greenery. But this is just a one-sided view from a girl - of course having money is good! And of course it's fine not to have money too. A simple, plain life with someone is quite nice! I've gone off topic - let me get to the point. Pothos (Epipremnum aureum) is basically a plant that many households keep, even offices, especially offices. Pothos is relatively cheap and very easy to keep alive. But pothos at home easily gets yellow leaves, and that's because you've placed it in the wrong spot!
Understanding yellow leaves
Always yellow leaves - this concept refers to leaves starting to turn yellow from the middle part. Yellowing that often appears near the bottom close to the potting soil is a normal phenomenon. First, it's the natural aging of leaves, and you can just pick them off. Second, the leaves are too dense and ventilation is poor, so you need to ventilate promptly - but neither of these is a big problem!
If the leaves start turning yellow from the top, you need to think about what the actual cause is!
These locations are unsuitable for pothos
Not by the windowsill
Many people believe that plants must be exposed to sunlight, and only then can they grow better! Actually, that's not true. Pothos absolutely does not need strong light to grow! Placed by a window and often exposed to blazing sun, the leaves easily dehydrate and get scorched, and instead it grows poorly! So try to avoid placing it on east- and south-facing balconies; west- and north-facing ones are fine.
Not next to home appliances
Home appliances refer to TVs or other devices that give off heat during use. With pothos placed beside them, it's like hugging a heater all day long - either the moisture is baked and gradually evaporates, or after watering, the roots get "cooked" by the heat. Either way, it won't grow well. All that stuff people say online about absorbing radiation is actually just a disguised form of mistreating the plant!
Next to air conditioners and heaters
Try not to place it next to a radiator. Since your home has heating, the temperature is certainly adequate, so there's no need to put it next to the radiator. You can place it on top of an air conditioner, but try to avoid areas around it where the wind can reach. In winter or summer, with cold or warm air blowing directly on it, no one could stand it!
