Growing vegetables on the balcony without pots and without taking up space - a plastic bottle setup can grow enough to eat for a year

When we grow vegetables on the balcony, we usually don't grow very many. To be honest, the space is too small and there's really no room to work with, so we can only look at the balcony and sigh. Take a look at this - a fellow gardener has used a bunch of plastic bottles to grow a balcony vegetable garden, no pots needed and no space taken up. Growing vegetables on the balcony like this, once it's set up well, can grow enough to eat for a year!
First cut off the bottoms of all the plastic bottles. Remember, don't cut off the very bottom one. Then fill each small bottle with nutrient soil and wedge them together.
Because it's too tall, it will fall over! So use rope, wire, tape, or anything else to secure it to a rack.
Note: this is the topmost bottle of each layer. You need to drill a few holes in the bottle cap and cut off the bottom of the bottle so it can be used to water the whole vegetable garden.
It is used for watering, so place it at the very top.
Fertilizing and watering can both use this top bottle to supply the entire vertical vegetable garden.
Cut a small square opening in the pots below for planting vegetables.
Look, a vertical balcony vegetable garden like this needs no pots and takes up no space. Grow more kinds of leafy seedling vegetables, colorful ones - they're tasty and they look great too, right!
