These perennial flowers are beautiful and spectacular, and once planted in the yard they need no care all year round

I really love planting perennial flowers; they can keep growing well in the yard all year round. If the environment is warm and humid year round, these perennial flowers need hardly any management at all. As long as there is no long-term drought, these flowers do not need watering, and with proper pruning and a suitable top-up of fertilizer they will grow strong and vigorous.
These perennial flowers produce brilliant, enchanting blooms every year, and they are very easy to propagate. If your yard does not have these flowers planted in it, you are really missing out.
1. Hydrangea
If your yard does not get quite enough light, then hydrangea is the best choice. It likes semi-shaded conditions, and about six hours of dappled light a day is enough. It likes to grow in cool places and does not like excessive exposure or long periods of direct sunlight.
You can try growing several different types; they come in different flower colors, including the common white, green, pink and blue. It is also a very unusual flowering shrub. If you pick the flowers and want to keep them fresh, you need to mist them often; when the flowers are about to dry up, they are very suitable for hanging up to make dried flowers.
Another special feature of hydrangea is that its flower color can be changed; you can change the flower color of hydrangea by changing the pH of the soil.
2. Iris
Iris is a plant that blooms brilliantly in spring. It is a shade-loving plant propagated by tubers, suitable for planting under the shade of trees; it can even be grown in places without sunlight, and it will bloom with a suitable amount of dappled light each day.
If you are growing it in a pot, you should choose some dwarf varieties. They usually bloom from April to June, and the flowers are especially vivid; there are even mixed-color varieties, including the common purple, pink, yellow and blue.
To grow iris, you need to prepare loose, well-drained soil for it. Avoid choosing yellow earth or heavy clay soil for growing it, and avoid soil that stays waterlogged or wet for long periods.
3. Peony
Planting some peonies in the garden is a good choice. It has many varieties, and the flowers are especially large. Its flower balls are suitable for making cut flowers, and most varieties have a captivating sweet fragrance. It usually blooms around June.
Peony is a very common perennial flowering plant. Most varieties are pink, white or purple, and it can keep blooming every year. It does not like being transplanted; simply plant it in a suitable position and that is enough, giving it suitable light each day.
If some peonies grow rather tall, you should set up suitable supports for them, giving their branches and leaves proper support to keep the branches from drooping.
4. Daylily
Daylily is an especially charming flowering plant. The common golden needle flower in daily life is one variety of daylily. It likes a warm and humid environment year round, and grows well both in sunny spots and in semi-shade. It is also a fairly cold-tolerant plant with particularly good adaptability to the environment; the soil only needs to keep good drainage.
Daylily comes in especially rich flower colors, and you can choose different varieties to combine. The flower colors include the common white, pink, orange, purple and yellow.
