-Planting and care-

Dig out the seeds of a ripe passion fruit, wash off the pulp, put them in a cool place to dry in the shade, then store them for later use.

2. Sowing

Soak the dried passion fruit seeds in water for 7 days until they are completely soaked and sprouted, then sow them. Because passion fruit seeds are very small, when sowing we only need to scatter them evenly on the surface of the soil, without covering them with a layer of soil. After about 7 days you can see new sprouts, and after a few more days, when the seedlings have grown stronger, you can transplant them.

3. Care

Passion fruit does not have high requirements for soil; you need to prepare some loose, well-draining sandy soil. Passion fruit is a temperate fruit, and too low a temperature can easily cause cold damage, so pay attention to keeping it warm in winter. Passion fruit likes water, so be careful not to let it get too dry, and keep it well watered.

After the seedlings come up, keep 1-2 main vines to climb upward and cut off the others. Passion fruit grows very fast and can quickly cover a whole balcony.
