The north of China has bid farewell to midsummer, while I, in the Southern Hemisphere, am welcoming spring. Before growing succulents, I simply enjoyed the blooming of all flowers in spring. After growing succulents, besides rejoicing in their vitality in spring, I worry even more about the arrival of summer. I have just seen the tragic summer-survival battles of succulent growers back in China; due to this year's abnormal climate, it truly is a tale of bitter tears. You have just made it through and are starting to prepare to buy succulents and admire them, while I also have to prepare to face summer.
I have submitted two articles before; friends who are interested can read mine:
"In the Turbid World of Mortals, My Encounter with You Is an Endless Lingering Affection"
"Under the Winter Morning Dew in Australia, Succulents Are So Charming"
Recently, while organizing photos on my phone, I found many photos of the succulents when I first got them. I am posting this as a keepsake to compare their changes, and even more, I hope to see them grow into beautiful large old stems. So this piece does not have much text; it is just about looking at the photos. Remembering their yesterday, admiring their today, and looking forward to their tomorrow.

After seeing these inspiring comparison photos, have you all begun to look forward to your own succulents becoming beautiful? Of course, the reason my succulents could change so much within a few months is mainly thanks to Australia's super-strong ultraviolet rays and the absence of low temperatures below zero in winter.
The countless landscapes of the world cannot all be taken in; I only wish to keep watch over these beautiful succulents, watching the seasons turn and the moon wax and wane. This kind of life is simple and plain, but the deep happiness in it can only be understood by those who love succulents.
Encyclopedia Jun's rambling thoughts:
Thanks to succulent lover "Guan Xin" from Perth, Australia, from [Encyclopedia Overseas and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Succulent Lovers Group 1] for the inspiring sharing. Back in China, autumn is also arriving one after another; in the cycle of the four seasons, tomorrow is the Bailu solar term, and afterward many places will clearly feel that the hot summer has passed and the cool autumn has arrived, and succulents are due for their season of gorgeous transformation again!!
