Whitefly

Symptoms: it flies, is white and bigger than a mosquito, and mainly attaches to the underside of plant leaves. It mainly sucks plant sap; the affected branches and leaves develop dotted yellow spots, and the leaves gradually wither.

Control: spray with Yaqingling solution or trichlorfon solution diluted 800 times. You can also use dichlorvos emulsifiable concentrate diluted 1000 times. When using the above pesticides, be sure to take protective measures.

White grub

Symptoms: white and C-shaped. It looks like a silkworm, with antennae mainly on the thorax. It mainly gnaws on plant roots, causing root necrosis. It often occurs in homemade compost, so the fertilizer must be disinfected before potting.

Control: spray the plant roots with Yaqingling solution diluted 800 times, or decamethrin solution diluted 2000 times.

Snail

Symptoms: snails mainly gnaw on the tender stem cortex of plants and newly sprouted tender buds. Generally, simply removing them promptly once found is enough.

Control: spray with trichlorfon solution diluted 1000 times.

Tobacco cutworm

Symptoms: its shape is like a small green worm, with a grayish-brown body and white stripes. It mainly gnaws on plant leaves, tender branches, and the flower buds of flowering plants.

Control: generally, this pest can also be removed promptly once it appears, or sprayed with trichlorfon solution diluted 800 times.

Scale insect

Symptoms: adult scale insects are generally nearly round or oval, about the size of a sesame seed, and mainly grayish-white or dark gray in color. They often occur on plant branches and leaves. Scale insects mainly suck plant sap. The affected plant branches and leaves turn yellow and curl.

Control: scale insects can be controlled by scraping them off directly, or by using dichlorvos emulsifiable concentrate solution diluted 1000 times. It is worth noting that when using pesticides for control, you should detect them in time and deal with them early, as this gives better results.
