The three characters "Yuhe Garden" were inscribed by the late Chinese bonsai art master Mr. He Gansun.
Yuhe Garden - a Central Plains gem painstakingly built over many years by Mr. Hu Dayu. Hu Dayu is the Executive Vice President of the Henan Provincial Bonsai Association, President of the Nanyang Bonsai Art Association, Deputy Secretary-General of the Flowers, Bonsai and Viewing Stone Branch of the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture, a Senior Chinese Bonsai Technician, and a Henan Provincial Bonsai Art Master. The Yuhe Garden he built features gray tiles and white walls, with a fresh, simple and rustic style. It is a cultural and artistic bonsai garden that brings together the finest qualities of seclusion, elegance, beauty and antiquity. Rare pines and ancient elms, thousand-year-old crape myrtles ingeniously planted in every corner of the courtyard, and folk stone implements arranged in casual disarray, beside trees or on the grass. Pausing and gazing, one after another bonsai that blend natural creation with human ingenuity leap joyfully into view - some vigorous and rugged, simple and mellow; some with fresh green new branches and leaves, graceful and upright; some with sparse, well-spaced branches and a clear, elegant posture; and some with delicate, graceful flowering branches, understated yet rich.

The treasure of the garden, the stele head with the imperial edict pedestal.
A facing wall full of character
The simple and elegant four-cornered pavilion
Bonsai arranged in orderly fashion
Beside the pavilion, the lake water murmurs and flows
A small bridge connects the two gardens
The ancient elm shines in its own special way
By the lakeside, the black pine stands tall with head held high
On the ancient stone millstone, the weeping cypress is soft and free-spirited.
The courtyard is deep and secluded
Bonsai displayed in splendid elegance
The evening glow reflects on the lake water
White walls and black tiles, delicate bamboo shadows
Under the setting sun shines the trees' craving for sunlight.
The fiery red fruit reflects the ripe season
