Is the Chunlan Yangshi Suhe worth growing? Fragrance and price introduction

Yangshi Hesu is a type of Chunlan (Cymbidium goeringii), its petals are of the lotus-form su (plain) type, and it was selected in 1920 by the master of Chenyi Studio. The traditional famous lotus-petal plain-heart variety "Yangshi Suhe" is known for its dwarf plant, with the flower hidden among the leaves. Compared with "Cuigai He", it appears even more pure and ice-clear in heart. Therefore it is a Chunlan variety very much worth growing.

The characteristics of Yangshi Hesu are three short and broad petals, round heads, contracted bases with flared corners, petal tips with slightly tightened edges, a compact plant form, and an obliquely upright leaf posture, with the central leaves narrow and the outer leaves slightly broader. The leaf color is deep green, with a glutinous, moist texture and luster. The bud is olive-shaped, the bud sheath is pale water-silver-red, with light purple vein lines. It has a large round lip, slightly white-green. It is a superior grade among Chunlan su-he lotus varieties. The dwarf plant paired with a delicate, exquisitely clear su-heart small lotus flower gives it a distinctive beauty. In terms of price, it is about 70 yuan to 100 yuan per seedling.
