When watering snake plants with rice water, add this to it and the small shoots will sprout vigorously and fill the pot

Snake plant leaves are upright, thick and leathery, and both sides have irregular dark green cloud-like horizontal stripes, closely resembling a tiger's tail, and in recent years they have been deeply loved by many flower growers.
Although snake plants are also relatively easy to care for, getting them to sprout "small green shoots" requires a certain amount of skill, especially nutrients. Today Hua'er will introduce to everyone: rice water plus a little of this stuff, once every 7 days, and the "small snake plants" will come rushing up vigorously and fill the pot!
Using rice water to grow flowers is very common, but getting a snake plant to sprout new shoots is not so easy, and the thing mentioned here is willow branches, because willow branches contain large amounts of salicylic acid, willow acid and so on, which are natural growth hormones that can promote rooting and sprouting in snake plants, while fermented rice water can provide the nutrients needed for sprouting and so on.
Specific method: collect some rice water and put it into bottles, filling each bottle to eight-tenths full is enough, to prevent the gas produced during fermentation of the rice water from bursting the bottles. Put a few small segments of willow branches into each bottle; the willow branches should be robust current-year growth, so that they contain rich salicylic acid and so on inside. It is even better to crush them before putting them in. After sealing, place in a cool and shady spot to ferment for about one month, and then it can be used.
When using it, slowly pour out the supernatant liquid, then add water to dilute it 20 times, and pour it directly into the potting soil, slowly pouring it in from the edge of the flower pot, stopping when it is almost at the top. Water once every 7 days, and it can make small green shoots keep emerging, and the plant will be even more emerald green and glossy.
One more point: the new leaves of snake plants have relatively low resistance. As the weather slowly turns cooler after Mid-Autumn, winter will soon arrive. In order for the snake plant to get through winter better, its resistance needs to be improved, so around Mid-Autumn, some phosphorus and potassium fertilizer should be added. You can spray the leaves 1-2 times with a 0.3% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution, so the leaves harden quickly and the plant gets through winter better.
That is all for the care of snake plants. If flower growers have other additions, you can share them with everyone in the comment section below. If you want to learn more about flower growing, you can follow Huajianke!
