Creative inspiration: Natural scenery always lifts the spirits, and to keep that beauty at home, the work "Landscape Like a Painting" came to be.
The aquascaping approach for this work drew on natural scenery for the layout, using an all-stone scape.
The sketch for the work was not drawn in advance; rather, the draft was refined while designing the hardscape, allowing timely adjustments to the hardscape, and the final completed scape basically matched the concept.
Tank setup process
Everything follows the same underlying principle. For a stone-scape tank like this, the setup process is nothing more than selecting materials - laying the base - arranging the hardscape - adjusting the hardscape (placing stones, adding aquatic plant soil, cosmetic sand) - filling with water - planting - maintenance - completed scape. Today we will mainly talk about the aquascaping approach, and share the beautiful photos of the finished scape.
The original design considered 5 options, all of which could be realized, but in the end option 3 was chosen, as it felt more rounded and harmonious.
The scaping process was rather monotonous, with lots of stone. This type of stone hardens the water, and in the early stage the plants were not in good condition; only after a long period of adjusting the water did they start to come into their own.
