Eggs as fertilizer: use them right and flowers bloom abundantly, use them wrong and you will definitely get pests

Some friends who like growing flowers ask, can eggshells be used as fertilizer for flowers? The answer is definitely yes, but you need to master certain techniques, so do you know what those techniques are?

Some flower-growing friends put eggshells directly on the surface of the flower soil. This not only has no effect, but also easily causes the soil to develop problems. If you want to use eggshells as fertilizer, you must wash them clean, especially the inside of the eggshells, which must be washed clean.

After washing them clean, put them in the sun to dry for 3 to 5 days. After drying, there are two ways to use them. The first way is to grind them into powder with a food processor, or roll them into powder with a rolling pin. When needed, grab a handful and put it into the soil so the soil can absorb it evenly. It can be used for any flower.

The second method is, after drying the eggshells, put on a pair of gloves to prevent cutting your hands. After putting on the gloves, crush the eggshells. After crushing them, put them into the soil, which can effectively prevent the soil from becoming compacted.

Using eggshells to grow flowers is a very good fertilizer, but do not try to be lazy and cut corners by throwing them directly on the surface of the flower soil. This not only has no effect, but also easily causes the soil to breed pests, and that is not worth the loss.
